Kinga Katanics — Bonjour tout le monde !

Born in 1989 in Hungary, "Kinga Katanics" live and work in Paris since 10 years.
"Photography" came as a self-taught art : She started practicing with her father’s old analog camera, dating back to the USSR. Rooted in childhood memories, her goal is to recall the importance of focusing one's gaze on the everyday details that surround us, imbued with poetry. Women are usually at the center of her drawings and "paintings" : they are often represented with a black panther, a mystical animal with ambivalent energies. For her, this panther embodies both female strength and the lingering memories of people from our past, with their ambivalent share of beauty and darkness. She came to art with the aim to create an invitation to travel through your imagination, inspired by nostalgic memories and poetic details.
